Jump Start Game Jam

Students from UMass Dartmouth and the Massachusetts Digital Games Institute (MassDiGI) are offering the Jump Start Game Jam to interested high schoolers, parents or teachers starting on Saturday, March 20 at 1pm and running through the next day. The virtual event is free, but preregistration is requested by March 19.

A game jam lets participants try their hand at creating a video game — from coding on up. The Jump Start Game Jam has been created with first-time participants in mind," said Luke Klegraefe '22 of UMass Dartmouth. Those who sign up will also get the chance to hear some mini-talks from game industry professionals.
