NASA’s App Development Challenge (ADC) is a coding challenge where NASA presents technical problems to middle and high school students seeking student contributions to future exploration missions. By responding to the App Development Challenge, students take a part directly in the Artemis Generation endeavors to land American astronauts, including the first woman and the next man, on the Moon by 2024.

Rapid Innovation Design Thinking and STEM Program for Grades 8+
Scoutlier is enrolling it’s 2020 - 2021 Rapid Innovation teacher cohort. Enrollment is free and will remain open until available slots available are filled. This national, virtual program can be run in your classroom during the Fall, Winter or Spring of the 2020 - 2021 school year.
Rapid Innovation is a DOD-funded design thinking and STEM program where Navy scientists and engineers challenge students (grades 8 and up) to design, prototype, and pitch solutions to problems in a wide range of leading-edge fields, such as AI/machine learning, coastal change, cybersecurity, and medical response innovation.

Grant Opportunities for High School STEM Teachers
The East Bay Educational Collaborative (www.ebecri.org), a nonprofit educational company located in Rhode Island, announces two Office of Naval Research grant opportunities for high school science, math and engineering teachers. Both grants provide materials and resources for teachers to use during in person, hybrid or distance learning. Applicants from communities that are connected with the military, Department of Defense or socio-economically disadvantaged communities are prioritized.
