Grant Opportunities for High School STEM Teachers
The Physics 360 Chemistry Grant is for 20K worth of materials, resources and professional development for A Natural Approach to Chemistry curriculum that includes lab stations, chemicals and much more. On August 18th, teachers who are part of the Chemistry grant will learn how to use A Natural Approach to Chemistry, coupled with Phet activities, to teach chemistry online. The second STEM resources grant is for 10K worth of materials, resources and professional development from JASON Learning, Scoutlier, and Lab-Aids. On August 19-21, teachers who are part of the STEM Resources grant will learn how to use the online platforms and will be supported with writing lesson plans. During distance learning last spring, students using Scoutlier achieved higher grades and recovered more credits than those who did not use the program.
